About the Event

In times of stress, we can feel overwhelmed and under-resourced. We become aware of our limits and our need for support. We remember our fragile and beautiful humanity. Life is hard enough without the harsh criticism, guilt and shame we so quickly pile upon ourselves when we are struggling. Truly, accepting ourselves is a difficult work that requires our practice in all seasons.

During this daylong intensive, held outdoors/lakeside, we will explore our growth edges around building "home" inside ourselves. This will be a safe place for a small group of individuals to reflect together about what is going on in the world and inside us. We will explore experiential practices that help us to align, ground, and move through difficulties with a greater sense of internal strength and security. We will share what nourishes us and what we are grateful for. To support our work, we will be connecting with the amazing resources of the natural world, art, our bodies, our deeper purpose/spirit and a community of fellow learners.

Curious? Please come! Participants can expect to participate in the following therapeutic elements: individual reflection, facilitated group conversations, optional creative activity, introduction to ceremony, practices of mindfulness and embodiment, and a nourishing meal together.

Details: Details about exactly where to meet will be emailed the week before, along with additional instructions about what to expect, what to bring and wear, etc. It is possible that this workshop may be postponed until a later date due to the virus. However, under the current circumstances, it feels important to offer this capacity-building opportunity to a small group of healthy individuals wanting to meaningfully grow stronger roots during a time of uncertainty.

Cost: A $5 non-refundable deposit paid online will reserve your spot. Bring the remaining fee (pick your price between $55 and $95) to the workshop (cash or check to Glasswing Creative LLC). Materials are included in the cost, but participants will be asked to bring their own nourishing lunch for hygiene reasons. Participants will also be required to sign a waiver.
